The song is a multi-track cover on which I played and sang all of the instrumental and vocal parts. I tried to sound as close to the original recording as possible.

The song was written by Paul McCartney for the Everly Brothers 1984 reunion album. Paul had been a lifelong fan of Phil and Don Everly since his teens.

There are now 42 cover songs posted on my 'Old Faithful Covers' channel.
If you enjoy the video, please send a link to someone else who might like it.

Thanks. MartyStuartfan

Very nice work! I haven't heard the original tune, but everything sounded crisp and right on to me. Looks like a heck of a lot of work, but it paid off.

Thanks for listening and responding.

The original song has a pretty good list of players that contributed, including Albert Lee, Paul McCartney, Jeff Lynne, and Dave Edmunds.

My typical cover song takes me 30 - 40+ hours to record. The corresponding video takes an average of about 12 to 15 hours to shoot and edit. Have you checked out the many other songs on my channel? I post a new cover song every 5 days. A Byrds classic coming this Friday (9-01-23).
