'Summer' Olympics will be held in our winter. That's now, being July-Aug. Southern Hemisphere and all

Awesome! Enjoy them to the fullest extent that you can! I was living in Atlanta when they hosted the Olympics. I had access to the Olympic Village (my job happened to be located inside the perimeter so we all got badges...even though we didn't do a lick of work during that time), I was involved in measuring the marathon course (though this was way in advance of the event), and came by many free tickets to various events. It was a great two weeks!

I have heard for a very reliable source, the Fortune Telling will be an Olympic Sport by then.
I hope to be Competing as a Palm Reader and, on the Tarot Card Relay Team.

I'm pretty good at both, I know how this will turn out.

With my family's health record, I'll probably be in the ground by then lol.

Having dealt with the 1996 Games here in Atlanta, my sincere condolences.

I had a work colleague from Brisbane. She described the summers there as similar to those here in Florida.

For American's who don't speak Australian: chook = chicken. And don't ask for a Fosters!

Foster’s Lager is one of my favourite beers.
Its upmarket brother Carlton Crown Lager is more likely to be drunk here.

If I was there, I would ask for something I simply Can't get in 'Merica.
Not doubt there is no shortage of Good Beer in the great down-under!

    Gerry,

If I still remember who you or I am when it comes around I'll be sure to look for you in the stands.:)
    Congrats for the selection.

    Thanks John,

You and I will be sprightly 80somethings so I will be the guy with the white beard and the big smile.

    Cheers Gerry
