Cologne seems so obnoxiously strong any more, i use high grade essential oils when i want to smell purty. Sandalwood and frankincense are my favorites.

I think most of the fragrances shown so far smell really good.
My dad wore Old Spice, I started wearing English Leather in the mid 60’s when an older cousin bought some, I loved the smell.
I still wear English Leather on the rare occasion that I wear a fragrance, it instantly takes me back to another time long ago, it’s a very enjoyable trip.

I have unopened bottles of Obsession for Men, Guess, Brut and some stuff called Balsamo Dopo Barba Vetiver & Rum (I have no idea what this is) that have been in a drawer for ever it seems. They were probably gifts from long ago. I don't use the stuff so I really should just toss it.
Back in high school my girlfriend favored Canoe. Funny how I remember that.

Can I add a public service announcement to this? People working with the public USED to be taught this.
When using a new cologne or scent, remember EXACTLY how much you apply, and then only use that much for ever. Over time, our olfactory sense becomes"immune" to a specific smell, and so most people, with regular use, don't "smell" their cologne as they once did. Therefore, they tend to apply enough that they still smell it. This is why SO MANY older women REEK of the stuff.....they CAN'T smell themselves. I can get in the elevator at my mom's senior living facility, and my eyes will begin watering from the fumes from someone who was on there several minutes earlier. This is why cooks and kitchen workers don't realize they smell of cooking grease, and smokers aren't aware how much they smell like smoke. But it's simply a fact! ;)

Tunafish Sandwich! Put one under each arm, and pretty soon, you don't smell like any other guy! And it's economical too, because it lasts for days and days.

I never use anything above the neck - I count on my Neanderthal pheromones to attract the girls instead.
No rings, bracelets, studs, tattoos or other accoutrements and not keen on women who look like they advertise the local hardware store inventory on their various parts either.
It's kinda fun being a curmudgeon because there are always a few like-minded grumps in the pub that agree with my antediluvian viewpoints.

Older ladies and Estee Lauder will suffocate you in a closed area.
Nose blind is the name of the condition, sometimes it can be a life saver. Like public restrooms in Tijuana.

since when is it a good idea to wear something that says "toilet water" on it in French?

when gals asked, I'd say "thanks, I don't know what it is, I took samples for kicks"

    which was true
