From fourteen years ago. I was scared $hitless that night, but managed to get through it. It was the longest fifteen minutes in my entire life. The guitar I used was a brownburst Ibanez AF75 hollowbody. I didn't do vocals back then, and fingerpicked my way through three original instrumentals. The audience was polite.

I’m surprised South Dakota has coffee houses!

Dang hippies! They’ve taken over everywhere

This one closed several years ago, but there's a few of them still scattered about. I never go to any of them, mostly because I can't tolerate the ever-present bottleneck at the order counter while everyone waits for their $5 Foo-Foo 'coffee drink' to be 'crafted'.

Most of them have been displaced by micro breweries run by guys with lumberjack beards and plaid shirts.

    Very cool.

I have to admit, there’s still a thrill when I see my name or my band’s name on a poster or on a marquee.

I was worried at first, being an old poster myself.

I often kick myself for not saving any of the posters and handbills from "events" I played in the sixties and seventies...not that they would have any value.....but for sentimental reasons.
That's a COOL poster, John. Frame it and hang it.

I might have three or four of them stashed someplace, the guy who put the show on gave me a handful of them back then. My intention is to get one of them into a poster frame and hang it on a wall.

Old poster? Why that could be almost anyone here at TDPRI!

I actually thought that the thread was going to be about someone we haven’t heard from in a while. Glad it’s not.

Ten times more than 'zip' is 'zip times ten', isn't it?
