Old Oahu amp issue . wont power on

    Yes, Mark, that is best and safest. Again, the black AC source should contact the end of the fuse holder with the feed to the switch coming off of the contact closer to the panel on which the holder is mounted. If wired with the incoming hot near the panel and IF one pulls a good fuse out of the holder by hand, one could be in contact with the wall voltage if and when the far end of the fuse hits that contact near the panel!

    I like modern capacitor , not really because you don't have the shielded end marker . I don't know of a easy method to check without oscilloscope ...
