    Because it's the internet.

Also, read the thread title. I didn't start the thread, but old guy hair is the topic.

We all end up with old guy hair one day if we are lucky.

The hair we lose on our head grows in abundance everywhere else on our body. What a reward for getting old.

It beats the alternative I guess, not reaching old age.

Do you know of some other way of communicating on the internet, other than keyboard?

Carrier pigeons? Tin can and string? How'd you old guys do it before electricity?

If I reach 80 I may rock either a long hair wig or mohawk just for the hell of it.

To each their own. I'd rather die than get old. There's no glory in being old.

Yeah, you say that now. When you get out of school you may change your mind.

Its as fun as you want to make it. I haven't cared about glory or what others think of me for decades already. Being a conformist would get a little tiresome after a while no doubt.

If I went bald, I'd hope to have the good sense to wear a hat.
As stated earlier though, that's not likely happening.

    Um, the bald part

Doubt it. I see you guys shuffling around, using little amps and light guitars because your back hurts all day and night. Driving your scooters through Walmart. Having to carry around four different sets of eyeglasses for different situations. Not for me.

Maybe you should just end it now then to save any future suffering?

No one said anything about conforming. I'm talking about what getting old takes away from you. I see it in people. It looks miserable.

You've suffered enough, but old people genocide is not my thing.

How would you know without experiencing it yourself, I'm guessing they feel the same way they did in their 30's 40's 50's just with a few more aches and pains. Life is what you make of it regardless of age.

Maybe. Maybe dementia is fun. Who knows? I guess you could ask a dementia sufferer, but can you really trust their answer?

What you're not seeing is what getting old adds to people, in positive ways. That part doesn't show on the outside much, but it's there

Well I feel much the same as I did in my 20's although that was a long time ago, I can't see that changing all of a sudden just because my timeline says it should.
