    I do whatever I want.

I'm old and can get away with it.

I quit getting haircuts back when you could get your ass kicked for having long hair. That made for entertaining encounters. Never saw a reason to get it cut, and now it's disappearing by itself. I tie it back if I'm working or outside in the wind. I couldn't give the smallest s**t what anybody thinks of my head.

Just retired. I am letting my hair get longer. I don’t know what length I want it. My life my choice.

So what do you haters define as long?

I remember Chet "the first" - pre-"again". I liked him then. Chet, I'm an old guy I have long hair and I don't give a flying f what you or anybody else thinks about it. Go crease your jeans.

I always had long hair back in my playing days, but had to cut it when I gave up and took on a food business. Gave that up 4 1/2 years ago and haven’t had a haircut since. Into my 50’s now, and not one real sign of grey hair on my head - so it’s all staying. As for my face, well thats a different story. I’ve always hated shaving but can’t stand the look of grey on my chin. :p

My 92 year old dad doesn't even ***** about my long white hair. Maybe that's because it's not very important, and he's a wise old man...

Why all the critic of old guys?
It’s not easy to deal with old age. Hair loss makes your choices very limited.
Long hair isn’t the answer for everyone, but if you like it, go for it.
A buzz cut or shaved head doesn’t work for everyone either.
I had long hair, but I couldn’t maintain it, so I buzzed it off, that looked even worse.
I have what I call the half head. No hair in the front, but plenty on the back half.
There is no style that can work with a half head.
    It’s frustrating.
So wear what you like, none of us are gonna win any Mr. America awards any more, so wear it anyway you like and to hell with anyone who doesn’t like it.
I saw a guy with long hair wearing shorts that were just below his knees and a jersey with a baseball cap on backwards.
    That looked ridiculous.

If God had intended us to have short hair, it would only grow out a fraction of an inch & stop, like a doberman.

there's no one in my life telling me what to do with my hair..... I've even had a few local teens say they wish they could have cool, long hair when they get old....:D

If my long hair makes me look to you like your mother or grandmother, then do us all a favor and don't post pics of the females in your family!
