^This is my mate^ he's 65 years old around 115kgs in weight he has the 'horseshoe' male pattern baldness thing going on with a ponytail, he also dyes it jet black

It doesn't normally bother me what other people do with personal taste but I tell him as a friend he looks ridiculous !
I see people pointing & laughing at him behind his back.:(

I'll make and sure to conform to whatever you think is best in all aspects of my life. Just write up a big checklist.

Get him. He wears collars.

Mine used to be long enough that I'd sit on the braid if I wasn't careful. Less long now as it just doesn't grow as long as it used to. Still don't bother getting it cut. Cheaper to get a bunch of scrunchies.:eek:

Just because that's how you see it doesn't mean that's how others see it. It's a subjective point of view. Just as is the issue of old guys with pony tails.

Funny how many here argue for a point of view, something subjective, not something that is actual fact. Confusing point of view with fact? Is it any wonder we're a mess as a species?

I've known a lot of women who love the 'fist with eyes' look... But I don't think they'd call it that.

A gentleman is an older man that is able to grow his hair long, yet chooses not to :)

I am a (mostly) bald guy, and I couldn't care less. There are truly more important, less superficial things to be concerned with in life. If I'm lost in woe over a fluke in genetics, than I seriously need to get a grip. Just because there was some meeting somewhere, that I didn't attend where everyone decided that people who have lost their hair are aesthetically inferior, doesn't mean I have to unconsciously accept a perspective just because others have. I have this crazy notion that maybe I should do my own thinking, which includes the formation of unconscious biases.

If Mark Twain had never heard the banjo being played, he might have said that.

There are many options for ignoring it, too.

Almost time for my yearly hair cut. I have it all cut to an inch or 2 in late May or June so I 'll be cool for the summer, then grow it for fall , winter and spring.
