Hmmm..Never thought about this aspect) i just like the look of a tailpiece on '52 LP.
As for a pickup, please don't expect much from me)

    Thanks)

I thought i'd have a dry run to see if it can actually work. There's no glue in the joint yet.

String holder on a tailpiece is different. That's a first version i've made

... and just couldn't resist making that cool thingie StewMac sells to prevent too deep nut slots

not that it's needed much, but this pipe holder makes such a good base for it

Love this build and all the creativity and ingenuity that you've put into it. This is going to be a very special guitar, and it's mysterious origins only add to it. cheers.

Wow. This has certainly moved on. That neck is fantastic, and brilliant ingenuity on the tailpiece.

Well, in fact, this is not a real real-time build thread. I've started working on this one a while ago. It was put aside a couple of times, but now i have a strong intention to finish it up. Thanks)

All your kind words are much appreciated, guys!

Ok, this maybe not the best t-shirt i have...Forgive me that)
As for the sound, no surprises: stringed shoebox, as you would expect from a relatively thin plywood body. I like it) Buzzes in the middle of the neck so far.

Well Mr P I think you've got a gem there, I like the un-amplified sound and the guitar looks really good. Are you going to add a p/up?... S

WOW very nice! What's the plan for, or how did you get rid of the bruising from the top being clamped up?

that's incredibly impressive, particularly the tailpiece made from an oven rack and a spanner..
