There are probably a few out there, but, here is a cool one...
Neat to see how they were marketed back then. I remember
going to the music stores and getting the fender brochures
and dreaming....I did love my Oahu..though.....lol

click on it..it will open.....neat about the special "rola" speakers....!

    Any others....

I like the Marshall PA setup. Never seen that. It would be cool to have one of those.

Woah, it had "realistic" bass tones. Hahahaha. Those look like cool looking solid state amps.

Check the band roster in that Marshall ad... The High Numbers, later known as The Who!

The ad probably dates to 1964, as according to the Google, the High Numbers name lasted only just a few months...

Cool stuff, digging all the old ads.

Interesting how every word of the ad copy has basically proven true over the past half century.

I remember looking at some of the amp ads in 70s GP--amazing the amount of BS some of them had. I'd already started studying electronics and some of the claims made very little sense. Especially the "a-hem" overoptimistic power ratings.

People don't care anymore. about being "constructed of only the finest components."

They want a killer all-tube amp that gets Fender cleans, Marshall crunch, and Vox chime, for <$300

Selmer trying to be 'with it', and Marshall claiming to be distortion free.
