He appears to have his pickup switch in the neck position -and the neck pickup cover removed (and really, I'm sure that's not even stock pickups).

To me, what he does at 2:03 is the reason why he's an artist while others are musicians.
Stopping playing, picking up the entire mike stand and screaming like he just stepped on a lit cigarette butt at the beach?
This somehow separates him as an artist in a field of mere musicians?
