I’m not quite finished incorporating the Line 6 HX One into my pedalboard yet. As soon as I have time, I’m going to wire it up 4-cable with my stomp boxes in the loop, but in the meantime it’s wired in after the stomp boxes.

One of the pedals the HX is replacing is my tuner. Quite often, I cannot get the guitar in tune. The pitch wobbles up and down, with the over/under LEDs on the HX blinknback and forth like a railroad crossing sign.

Then I remember to turn off my chorus pedal.

I still have one...
You kids with yer fancy gadgets.

My '70s Martin's case still has a tuning fork in the compartment. Still does the thing without batteries or breathing hard, just a satisfying strike on a hard object and then place it against the soundboard.

This thread is making me wonder if I'd be better off using battery powered headstock tuners at jams and other outings, and maybe using my ancient Korg analog tuner (the kind that's the size of a Nokia cellphone) when I'm in my rehearsal space. I should do a side-by-side and see which one's more accurate.

But how would you know which one is more accurate?
