Wild Boar Tavern tonight with the small(er) band, taking the American Standard Strat, Tele Deluxe reissue and mandolin. Small pedalboard with the Pro Junior IV. Just put a WGS Veteran 10 in it, HUGE improvement.

Playing a winery Saturday, we have played there every Memorial day and Labor day weekend for the last 10yrs.
Glad they're still going and want us! Same protocols they had in May.

It'll be fun, bringing archtop and 6v6 amp. I am getting used to playing with out our bass player, though he says he'll be there:rolleyes:.
We have a couple of things coming up where I really want bass and drums. I will put a bit of pressure on singer to let me call in a friend to play.

I have one in Fayetteville, Tx. this evening with Amber Lucille.
    It’s a bit of a drive.
    We’ll be a trio.
I’m bringing my avatar guitar, MJT Tele, R6, Cube 80XL and my recently acquired Boss ME50 multi-effects.
I used one for many years, but haven’t used one at all in three years.
Amber does more classic rock than anyone else I play with.
The extra sounds will come back n handy.
    Looking forward to it!

Semi-acoustic trio tomorrow afternoon. I'll be using my Godin A6 Ultra and Fishman Loudbox Performer 180. This will probably be my go-to rig for the duration of my playing years.

Another winery gig this Saturday. We will set up on the porch so equipment would be fine. If it rains though they will cancel since everything takes place outside these days.
Forcast looks pretty wet this week:(

Local beer garden Saturday night. Taking the Am Standard Strat, mandolin and...Mustang III amp.

Just got the amp off ebay, can't believe I like it, because I hate modeling amps.

Once again we are at our private club gig this weekend , as a duo. All full band gigs are..well..who the heck knows if they will ever return This is a rotation duo gig, on a covered patio , but still outside, so go ahead and rain , like it did last weekend at our last weeks outdoor gig which was WET !

This week,I have decided, because I like it so much, and it is so versatile, the new Brent Mason Tele is coming out . I was gonna wait until the return period ended but nope, I'm not sending it back, so off to gig duty it goes ! I have had it for 3 weeks now. I happen to think its the best Tele I have ever owned, at ANY price !

BM Tele and a Blues jr, not the Z in the photo.

I have a bass gig at The Rustic Tap on Sunday with the Joel Hofmann Band.
It’s outdoors, so the weather may not cooperate.
I’m bringing both my PRS SE Kestrel bass with T/I flats, and my P bass with D’Addario tapewound strings.
I’ll use my GK bass rig.
    I always enjoy this band!

    I've got three coming up in the next week or so;

Tomorrow I'm on bass for the last outdoor/on the deck show of the year at our favorite summer venue. The Elite Jazz with the GK MB-112 should do nicely.

Friday it's bass again for an annual rock and roll show (outdoors again) with a couple of different bands. I think it'll be a Stingray kinda night. I'll take the MB-112 again, but with the powered 115 for a little more headroom.

Next Wednesday I'll be doing my dysfunctional solo show on guitar. I generally mix it up a bit to keep myself from getting bored on solo gigs, so I'll be bringing the Martin D-1 as well as my Thinline and Marshall DSL 201/ME-70.

Back at a small PUB outdoors this weekend, again., we got rained out the last two times. This weekend should be ok, no rain forecasted and mild temps.

The Lodge in Charlotte NC, 7-10.

Tele and a small amp along with my Acoustic bandmate.

I am playing guitar with Amber Lucille this is evening at the Hays City Store (restaurant) in Driftwood, Tx.
I love playing with Amber and drummer/husband Joe.
    We’re sounding “played in”!
I’m bringing my 2 bender guitars.
This is not a country gig, we do Amber’s rock originals, some country (me, mostly), and lots of classic rock.
    We’ve played moderately often lately.
    Cool!

Tonight I play bass with the Joel Hofmann Band at Riley’s Tavern, in Hunter Tx.
It will be outdoors, and we will be the opening act for Texas country legend Johnny Bush.
I’ll play my P bass into my GK amp.
I always enjoy playing with Joel at his venue.
Looking forward to hearing Johnny and his great band again!

I started playing with a new group of folks playing a wide range of classic rock. It’s been pretty good so far. I’m not sure if we’ll do any gigs but the players are pretty good and the music is challenging (for me!). I started playing with a Tele and a Super Champ x 2 and I am a little underpowered. So next time out I’ll be using the Tele with a DV Mark 50 and a 2x10 cab. It is significantly louder than the SCx2 so I am hopeful that will be the ticket.

I just got a reminder (text) from my friend Lamar.
We are playing a senior living complex this morning at 10.
    I forgot!
Luckily I have time to get there.
I’ll play my new (old) Ibanez Artist and my avatar guitar.
I’ll use my Cube and sing through my Fishman Loudbox.
    It will be fun!
    Better hurry!

Tonight small band is playing the Loudon Theatre. Taking the mando, American St. Strat, SG and Mustang III modeling amp.

It almost cramps my hand to type "Mustang III modeling amp," but I have to say, the dang thing works well for gigs this size.
