Monday Nov 11, Huntersville NC, Veterans Day Parade / Ceremonies. Downtown, Outside ! We do this every year, it can be cold but we don't play long, maybe 1 set. Around 11 Am or 12 noon. Several American Flags are retired at this ceremony and many Veterans are honored as well. It's a darn good time.

Thursday Nov 14, my regular BI-Monthly gig at Jacksons in Gastonia NC, 6 to 8. I've been on this 2x / month gig for going on 5 years now.

    No cover, great food !

Emmons Steel and a Telecaster. Country, R+R, some 50's , some standards. Its not a high pay gig but it is a "dream" gig. We draw about 100 each show which is right at capacity, very consistent, they have become our friends or rather "family ".

I’m playing with my favorite country band, the Lost Sounds in Johnson City this evening.
I’m going to play my gold top and my EJ Strat.
I love subbing in this band!
    Looking forward to it!

Felt stratty yesterday used the faux-56 as the #1. Tele did alt tuning songs, and my newest aqusistion, (the pink strat named Bonnie) was used for slide.

tonight, back at the weekly brewpub. Taking the usual suspects, tele, SF Princeton, small board. Guest artist is an old time folky band, a 5-piece complete with banjo player and a keyboard player...they've been around town for quite a while, and they're all good folk. Will be fun night.

By coincidence, happened to be at this same venue for 3 nights last week - 2 gigs and going to see a duo that my wife & I love. However, the venue owner is a smoker and doesn't care if it's no longer allowed; he smokes anyway, and a number of the customers as well. Hack, hack, cough, cough. I used to be indifferent to it, but now I guess I've gotten spoiled. One night a week is ok, but don't like it much. Seems like overall attendance is down as well. The duo we saw usually draws a full house but not even close for a Saturday night? It doesn't look like a good trend...

Tonight I play with the Joel Hofmann band in Wimberley (Woodcreek).
I’m bringing my Cabronita, avatar guitar, and Firebird.
It will be a comparatively low volume gig, and my understanding is that the venue is small/intimate.
    Looking forward to it!

Wow. This thread has really grown since the last time I checked in.

Here’s my setup for my next gig, which is a actually the same setup as the last gig.

    Carvin Stagemate with extension speaker.
    Shure SM58
Martin HD-28 with K&K Pure Mini

(The lights belong to the venue but I might get some of my own for future gigs).

The monthly pizza gig tomorrow night:) Think I'll bring the Pro Jr, mahogany Tele and big guitar:cool:
Long narrow room glass front tight space. 1 main, 1monitor and small board works well. Usually we get a good crowd:cool: IMG_20191121_085952122.jpg

I’m in Cistern, Tx tonight with Tracie Lynn.
I’m bringing my avatar guitar and EJ Strat.
I think I’ll bust the Katana out for this one.
It’s a smoky and (hopefully) rowdy little place.
    We’ll see.

Tonight at the Cottonwood Community Center in beautiful downtown Cottonwood, Idaho.

It's a benefit for a young man that was in a bad car wreck.

I have a bunch of company here and will make a quick appearance and need to travel light.

Will just throw in the AC15, one Tele(probably the Nashville), mic stand and accessory bag.

Plug straight into the amp and go! It will only be for a couple hours.

Singer and I play benefit concert for a local relief agency tommorow evening. There will be about 2 dozen groups, everyone does 2 songs.
Mostly choirs, bluegrass and americana acts.
We'll play a couple jazzy Christmas standards, something different and they always seem to ask us back. It's held in a Mennonite church, beautiful sounding room. Adjoining room is full of goodies, easy to put on the holiday 5 during intermission:twisted:

I have a great annual office Christmas party duo gig later this morning at 8:30AM.
My friend Bill B and I will play our acoustic guitars and sing.
Bill has a great sounding early 70s Gallagher dreadnought he usually brings, and I will bring my James Goodall RCJC.
It’s for Bill’s GF’s employer, and were always well recieved, fed and paid.
We play another party for another division of the company tomorrow morning.
Bill B is a brilliant songwriter/singer/guitarist and it’s a joy to play with him.
    Looking forward to both gigs!

Tonight the house band I play with every Wednesday will be playing for a Vets Adm Christmas Party at a VFW Hall here in Houston. We all love doing this gig. I'll be taking my trusty Tele, the BF Tremolux and small pedalboard.
