Tonight I have my regular piano bar/lounge gig.
I’m going to play my new-to-me 2011 Fender Telebration La Cabronita.
It’s great sounding and essy to play.
I just did a coupla mods to it.
I moved the pickup selector “up top” to Les Paul/Tele Custom position, and put a push/push phase switch in it.
    Much better, IMO.
I’m going to use my Katana 100 1-12 for a change, too.
    I’m looking forward to it!

    Tonight, the weekly brewpub.
One of our former bass players, who moved to the Georgetown/Round Rock area is in town and will be stopping by to sit in with us. He also is a wonderful guitar player and that will be fun to hear. He goes by "Steve the Brit" and does a lot of solo gigs in his new hometown. When he played bass with us, he used to cover Lou Reed's Take a Walk on the Wild Side and I would always try (not always successfully...) to make my guitar sound saxophone like.
    Should be a fun night.

Tonight I sub with The Lost Sounds in Albert,Tx.
My dear friend and steel guitarist Dennis is out of town, so we’ll be 4 piece.
I’m going to be subversive and bring my B bender (avatar) guitar.
I generally don’t use my bender guitar when there’s a steel guitarist.
The weather is looking a little “iffy”.
The gig will happen, regardless of the weather, but more folks show up if it’s nice.
I’m going to bring my Roland Blues Cube Artist 1-12 and EH Canyon, too.
    Looking forward to it!

Not sure what my next gig is.
We are supposed to play at a private party, out doors at a Golf Course.
Sadly, the forecast is fixin' to rain!

I have a feeling it will be touch and go right up to Saturday.
There is a place we can play inside, but .....

Saturday night is our annual Dylanfest. I'll be playing something called an "acoustic guitar". I've heard of these, and I have seen photos. I'm looking at it sort of like an "archaeological dig", if you will, instrument wise.

Sorry for the late response,I just noticed your post.
    It is a Gibson, a 2016 model.
It has a bunch of interesting features, including a 1 3/4 inch nut width, an “axcess” neck joint, a removable pick guard (no bracket or holes in the top), coil taps and phase switch (like the Jimmy Page model) and a massive, aluminum(?) , heavy, wooden handled case.
Sadly (sorta), I’m not bonding with it.
It may “become” something else soon.

Upcoming outdoor gig at Norris, TN Commons. I'll be taking the DRRI and new-to-me Gibson ES 335 Traditional I just bought.

The Epiphone 335 Pro I bought a couple of months ago suited me so well I decided to invest in the Gibson. Needless to say, it's working out great.

We are hosting an open mike. I started playing bass with a different group. They hold open mikes throughout the area. We play a couple of sets and then back up whoever signs up to play. Interesting and it keeps you on your toes. Using a 10 year old cheap Ibanez and an Ampeg BA115. The Ampeg has really been impressive and the Ibanez has held up much better than anticipated. I put new pick ups, pots and caps in it and set it up so it plays nicely. If this turns out to be reasonably permanent I will move to a P-Bass.

I’m subbing with Fingerpistol at The Highball this evening.
I always look forward to playing with this great band!
I’m going to use my Cabronita and Cube.
The Highball sits at the site of my former employer, Ray Hennig’s Heart Of Texas Music.
    I worked there in 1985-1986.
It was a semi-legendary music store.
SRV used to frequent the store, and it’s where he purchased his #1 Strat, from Ray.
HOT Music is just another casualty of “New Austin”.
Anyways, looking forward to the gig!

It was great to meet you, your missus, and banjo playing friend.
Thanks so much for coming out!
Our steel player was MIA, and we really missed him last night.
He gets back from his European vacation today.
I truly love subbing with these guys!
The gig went well, and I enjoyed playing my avatar guitar on it.
I’ve met about a half dozen on the TDPRI (mostly) brethren now.
    Classy guys, every one!

bringing my usual gear: Eastman T486 (335 style) and a Mesa F30 plus a few favorite boss pedals (DD3, CS2, TR2)
I’ll have to move fast to get there after work, but it will be a fun night.

Next Saturday, we have an outdoor gig at a new (to us) place about a half hour out of town. My gear will be the usual - PRS, Tele, through a Pod HD400. First gig for our drummer with his new Sonor kit, so between that and new venue, I'm looking forward to it!

Tonight I play bass with two dear friends at Sam’s Town Point.
Pedal steeler John will be the bandleader, and drummer extraordinaire Timmy will round out our trio.
I’ll play my PRS Kestrel bass with TI flats, into an old, but fully functional Traynor 80W Block amp.
I’ll bring my Fender Cabronita and Roland Cube 80XL, in case someone wants to sit in on guitar.
It was fun the last couple of times we played there.
    Looking forward to it!

Gonna play my Godin nylon string through a zoom MFX pedal into my Fishman loudbox mini for our annual faculty goodbye party next month. We’ll have a trio, with me playing lead/fills, my partner strumming on steel string acoustic, and our hired gun percussionist. Looking forward to messing with some spacy reverb, delay and modulation effects, and also going to try some BG vocals with a TC helicon harmonizer box!

Next gig is a 3-hour all instrumental thing on a boat. Be weird to not sing but I'll bring the Gretsch thinline for standard & drop tuning songs, a parlor with a soundhole humbucker for open tuning stuff, and a 5-string banjo (also with a humbucker). All into a 4-way instrument selector >> Line 6 Spider V 120w amp I just started messing with >> mixer >> Fishman Fish Stick. My buddy will bring a Strat or nylon ac/el and an ac/el mandolin.

Our plan is to just jam our playlist, so swing, blues, early country, rock up through the 70s, folk. Hoping for a laid back gig.

My old college frat-parties-and-bars band's 35th reunion show at a brew pub. Two sets of new-wavish '80s rock.

My rig will be the blue Telecaster, the goldtop PT, my main pedalboard (presently equipped with Pitchblack Mini, DIY Stratoblaster, MXR Custom Comp, Xotic BB Preamp, MXR Phase 95, Boss CE-2, BF-2, and TR-2, and an EHX Grand Canyon) and my DIY Marshall 18 Watter clone.
