We are doing four breweries over the next four weeks, very fun (and early!) shows. I have been in a constant state of rig adjustment for the past 2 years, but have landed on my tele, my 5e3, and the only pedals I'm using are a BD-2 and a boost...super simple and the best-sounding setup I have yet used!

One of my favorite gigs coming up this Sunday. Duo at an upscale winery only
8 1/2 miles from my house. It's a fun challenge playing solo jazz guitar ty back up a fine singer. We are always appreciated by the staff and patrons.

I'll bring a big guitar, small p.a. and my 6v6 amp.

Legion gig this afternoon...always a full house and happy upbeat crowd.
3 of us from the band went to a different fairly local Legion yesterday with our gals for their Friday Jam....we didn't go to play just for a fun outing with some music.
There were several fans of our band there as well and they hounded the Legion President to book us a gig at his Legion, so now we have another venue for matinee(our favourite kind)gigs...just kinda fell into our lap. We feel very grateful for these opportunities.

Very cool!
I LOVED playing the Legions when I lived in BC.

I will post of the outcome in the your last gig thread……but forgot the gear part in this one….my main 52 ri hot rod tele just hasn’t been feeling right lately( me thinkin it needs a setup) so pulled out my old G&L Assat for the gig….was very happy with it thru the Allen Sweet Spot

Playing Saturday with my old band for B'ville Day. It's a fun little community event and fund raiser for the Ruritans.
1st time to hold it since the pandemic.

We were going to get together for a practice, but our harmonica player got the unmentionable affliction last week, but says he will be able to play😎
We've all played together for 35+ years, so there's plenty of material. Half of our time will probably just be playing for the cake walk.
Now if I can just get a carrot cake set aside for the band🍰

Next one is tomorrow evening. Nice location where we´ve already played last year. Unfortunalely inside because of the weather forecast.

I´m bringing out my trusty Bogner Atma and my new to me PRS Custom 22. Played her yesterday at rehearsal and was very satisfied with the CU22, also with the 5way rotary switch. Works fine and sounds fantastic 👍

Tomorrow - bar gig with my acoustic Americana band.
I'm bringing my new Iris OG (with a K&K pickup) and Kentucky mandolin (also with a K&K - both going into a FireEye RedEye Twin preamp), and my cheapo SX squareneck dobro (pimped with a nicer cone & spider), with a Lace Sensor pickup going into a Tritone inline preamp.
We're using the mixer and Bose stick PA that's already at the bar.

Saturday afternoon, at a local tavern's "Annual Wingfest"... it'll be nice to get home at an actual normal bedtime for a change LOL. Gig is 2-7pm. Self-contained, unfortunately (we have to provide the PA, it's an outdoor gig), which means 2 hours after the gig breaking down and getting home :(

I always bring the same rig, as I have now "chosen" the guitars that always come with me: my old #1: a '93 Am.Std. tele that has been mildly customized over the years so it's a part of my body now, and my newish PRS DGT. Roland Blues Cube Artist with a medium-sized pedalboard for various "noises" on several songs. But really it's just the 2 guitars and the dirty channel of the amp 90% of the time.

Trying out a new piece of gear tho: I got a mic stand that fits UNDER the pedalboard, so it can be right in front of me instead of off to the side. Will help clear some stage space so I have a clear walking path...not that there's ever much "walking space" in the small areas we always have to set up, but it'll be nice to at least not stand ON THE SAME SPOT all night...
