I wasn't the one to come up with the idea, but I decided to see what would happen if I tried it as well: I played a few tunes from Radiohead's OK Computer to a dozen of my ESL students, just to see what they'd write and draw. Here's exactly what happened:

Oh, the curious wonders of a beautiful six year-old mind...

I like that album a lot. I just wish the cymbals weren't so swishy sounding.

That was great thanks :) Climbing up the Walls scares me a bit sometimes, especially that scream!

That's one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.

next, try *****es brew. it's a favorite in my art classes this year--for some reason. usually my students end up digging the mellower stuff i play for 'em...

actually, it seems students are all becoming big miles davis fans this year. there's something about cool, dead people that really appeals to a 17 year olds mind. that's when i got hooked...

whoops, the auto-censoring thing happened...uh, in case you don't know what i'm talking about, the first word rhymes with "witches":D

Hmmm, what would happen if you played them Creep?

...and what about a classic like Stairway To Heaven?

That is very cool! I wish I had teachers like you.

I remember bringing Rush's 2112 to school when I was a senior in High School because my English lit teacher was a huge Ayn Rand fan, and the concept for the album was based on Rand's book "Anthem". She gave me extra credit :)

Never had teachers play great rock music to me though. Nice job!
