    My 1989 000-28 that I have owned since new is a cannon that really started firing in the last 10 years.

    No neck reset necessary but I do believe that 11-52 strings on the shorter scale 24.9” has reduced the stress on the guitar.

    Interesting. I never really thought about the strings, other than to out on my usual D'Addario bronzes.

    Thanks! Pretty much all of the people I jam with have J-45's, and I can't argue with their taste or logic. At this point, I think we've got your basic mutual admiration society (for the guitars, not the playing LOL) :)

    Nice guitar! Martins are pretty esoteric to me. Dont know much about them.

    Just got a new Gibson Hummingbird and that is loud!
