I was fooling around in Photoshop last night with a photo from the Fender website and 20 minutes later this popped out. I found it interesting at first but, over the past 24 hours it's really starting to grow on me.

    What do you think?

My US 1985 Peavey Falcon is shaped like that, more so than like a Fender anyway...

i absolutely love the Strat shape, but there are superior ergonomic designs ... my MIK Peavey Predator is an example ... it really hangs and plays more comfortably than a Fender (kind of a poor man's Wolfgang) .... [IMG]

No No No No! Blasthemy! Would Leo approve? All kidding aside, it is actually intriguing looking.

Now that I search my memory, I recall Peavey made a hard tail Predator shape with P90's. The thing ripped!

This offset Strat is just one of those weird things that came up spontaneously but now I'm starting to dig it. Just what I need! I'm in the middle of re-fretting my SG, my Guild D15M (that I just re-topped and re-necked), is ready to go back together, and I have a long scale Les Paul project I've been trying to get to for over a year now! Oh well, I do have a Strat neck neck hanging around looking for a body............

No, I mean like an offset Strat. The Performer is cool but bears very little resemblance to an offset Strat.

I think it looks great! Might be cool experimenting with all the pickups slanted or something like that, to "match" the offset body.

    Pretty cool.

You might try shortening the lower horn a tad so that if you drew a line connecting the tips of both horns it would be parallel to the slanted "butt".

It looks like a dead thread, but I have actually come across a body that looks like an offset strat. I am having a heck of a time finding a pickguard for it. Can anyone identify this body?

Needs a Jazzmaster trem and bridge pickup and a Telecaster neck and neck pickup.

DUDE ! I am having the same problem !--and to make majorbugout happy , mine does at least have a jag trem . The color is a red paisely and looks like a Strat blended with a Jag ...going nuts trying to conjure up a pickguard or at least a template..

Any luck on a pickguard ?

    No pickguard luck

No, I have tried a couple exotic pickguards that I got from friends, but no luck. I think I am going to have to just suck up the price and order a custom one from greasy groove.
