It's gonna be wet and windy tonight at Gillette. A turnover or two is likely.

    NY Giants at NE Patriots

The new kicker for New England might have a tough go also.

    OR 4 or 5 ....wholly mammoth . . .

Looks like we'll find out just what sort of team there are with Brown gone and Gordon headed for IR or DL. This defense could have Brady playing until he's 50, I'll give them that.

The first half looked like the Giants had a good chance to win.

The second half they did nothing good. Go Pats! 6-0 now.

    Hurl away..

They forced four turnovers and scored twice off defense and special teams in a 35-14 mid-week win over the New York Giants (2-4) to stay undefeated.

Last night PROVED that the Pats are great even when they don't have their best game, there's a reason they're 6 and 0! Here's a garbage bag, have at it!

Seriously a guy who can fumble, then pick the ball up off the ground with his left hand, switch the ball to his right and then throw it, has to worry about the air pressure in a football? ;)

Most well-rounded effective defense since the '85 Bears. The DB's (ability to play shutdown man-to-man), Linebackers (athleticism and discipline) and D-line (especially Danny Shelton developing 2-gap play) makes this defense remarkable. Also, BB taking over the helm of defensive coordinator this year is paying dividends.

In today's games I am most interested to see if the 49ers are the real deal. A convincing win over the Rams would help (partially) decide this question.

The 49ers look like the real deal. SF's defense dominated the Rams. SF's defense is looking very stout!

    TOP PERFORMING DEFENSES in 2019
(Pts allowed per game - opps red zone scoring %)

    N.E. 8.0 Opp RZ Scoring % 25.0%
    S.F. 12.8 Opp RZ Scoring % 25.0%
    Chi 13.8 Opp RZ Scoring % 50.0%

Tonight if Detroit covers the +4 pt spread - I'll be a perfect 14-0 against the spread this week in an annual contest I play. $

My Bears need a win badly today. Looks like Green Bay is for real.

3 game win streak for my Cards! All bad teams but I’ll take it seeing how they only won 3 games all last year.

    49ers are 6-0, but I dunno.
My fantasy team is dominating... so that is really fun!

Dallas kicks a 63 yard field goal to closed the 2nd quarter, it would been good for 66 easy!! That guy has a foot!!

Geese, Lamar and the Ravens D kicked the crap out of my Hawks today. Congrats to the Ravens, Lamar is in another league! What a pleasure to watch him play.

The raiders don't disappoint, perusal. The curse of Davis haunts this homeboy fan and I accept that no matter who they get in trades, etc. etc. etc. etc. There is a certainty than no matter how it looks the will eventually be denied their place in the sun because of the Davis Curse. :(To know this at the onset of each and every season takes some of the anxiety out of the season, dampening the bitter taste of another season of crushing disappointment.
Always root for the home team: come hell or high water.o_O
