My SFDR with Cannabis Rex speaker. Last year, my tech said it was the nicest sounding DR he's ever worked on!

#1 for what? I like my old Deluxe Reverb and my Carr Hammerhead, but I generally don't play the same style of music through them. Right now I think the Carr has the edge.

Years ago I was given a SFPR that had been modded by Billy C. (Trey Anastio’s old guru) to an extra gain stage (added PA tube) as well as 12” spkr. Boogie-like and the thing sounded unreal. Some guy offered me silly $ after a gig and like a drunken sailor I took it...

Well, I only have three amps and one of those is a Silvertone 26 watt beginner amp that was given to me. So, that leaves the 1st amp I ever bought and the second amp. The first was/is a Boss Katana 50. It's ok I suppose, but it's a far cry from my favorite... My "number 1" amp is a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe George Benson Edition.

Trinity 18 TMB. I do have a couple others that could knock it off, but the Trinity has been getting the action over the last 10 years.

My '68 blackline AB763 Super Reverb. I traded a guy for it back in '73. He got a center volume 5G4 2x10 Super, I got his virtually unused SFSR. I loved that brown Super, but needed something with more punch, a bit cleaner and reverb. Over time the SR just got better and better. It has the CTS alnicos. A May '68 build, it may be one of the last AB763 silverfaces made. Amps come in here & amps go out, but this guy just stays.

Sok66, my ‘72 SR w CTS alnicos, blackfaced is also a keeper for me. Incredible tone for everything but what a Marshall is made for. And with an Audio Crunchbox it can even do that, too.

Hi-Tone Lowatt Custom, with a very close second-place going to a Cutthroat Audio Down Brownie.

I once had a 1968 Princeton Reverb. You don't know what you've got 'till is gone.

Not having GAS, my amps over the last 50 years are few. The two #1s are my Carvin X-Amp 1X12 combo and my electric blue special edition DRRI.

66 Super Reverb with CTS alnicos. I’ve been offered far more than I paid for it multiple times, but I’ll never let it go.
