So a good buddy of mine brought me his old guitar to see if I could fix his neck. Apparently it got knocked over and has a little crack. So when get looking at it the neck is broken almost all the through at the headstock. Closer inspection revealed that a few of the frets have some bad spots as well. After some discussion we decided to just make a new neck for it as it is a bolt on and shouldn't be too difficult. The guitar in question is his old Harmony flying V, that he used to play in his old punk band. He plans on doing something weird with the body paint scheme so he wants an off the wall looking neck to go with it, something unique. This is what I came up with.
