So I stumbled upon this guitar I've never heard of before the other day, called the Fender Performer from the 80's, I was checking out the gear of the lead singer of Bloc Party. And it made me think that the Jaguar was forgotten also until John Frusciante and other players started bringing it back. So this just made me wonder, are there any other Fender models that are fairly obscure?? pictures and info would also be appreciated.
Here's a picture of the Performer in case you haven't seen one before either (middle)

I've been trying to locate a Fender Katana since the mid 80's...

-Didn't the Fender Esprit Ultra used to be Heartfield? Something tells me they were called that and they had a Robben Ford model too. I may be wrong though. But definitely a sweet guitar there.

This looks like a guitar, straight from the Scooby Doo comic strip or something.

After so many misfires (sale wise now, not commenting on function) I suppose Fender is purty skeered about doing anything new and outlandish.

    Nice topic, thanky.

Kingston Guitar Shop up here in Canada has an antigua coronado, looks mint. Give them a call, maybe they'll ship it to you. They have a twelve string natural finish too.
