nylon string recommendation

i recently played a 12 fret steel stringer that had a 1 /13/16 nut. i liked it a whole bunch. that's kinda what got me to thinking about a nylon/classical in the first place. plus willie nelson plays one..of course, i think his is a martin.

I just purchased a 2015 Takamine GC5CE-NAT acoustic/electric classical guitar for my first foray into nylon string territory. Looking to take my Travis picking skills in a new direction.

The entry level Yamahas are great! Not entry level at all.

i got a line on a swap deal, an old randall amp for this. the amp is pretty sweet but i don't really use it anymore. anyone familiar with Miguel Sevillano guitars?

i played 3 different mid-priced yamaha's today and they were ok, but then i picked up a la patria etude that i liked a lot more. it was 429 and that was with a godin pre-amp/pickup system with tuner. not bad for decent dough. didn't purchase but its got me thinking.
