Presenting my first Jazzmaster ever! Traded a Vox MV50-AC, matching 1x8 and $50 for a pristine Squier Classic Vibe ‘60s and I love the tones!!!

Most of them stay put if you push them in all the way. Trouble is most of the time they aren't pushed in all the way.

Before I changed out my mascis I couldn’t get it to stay put, doesn’t help it wasn’t the arm that came with it

But... on a squier VM that came with the bar it wouldn’t stay either

I ended up wrapping some Teflon tape around it, I learned that trick from the folks at the offset forum

Problem is that you have to redo it if you remove the bar

I’ve never had problems with the vintage style units

I kind of loath these cheap units, the one on my mascis would make a loud “thunk” when pressing it “something about knife edges...”

Haven’t played an import unit I like yet

The dude I got it from had it all dialed in. I forgot to copy the add for all the upgrades. Luckily he knew what he was doing. It’s really smooth and I love the tones!

Love the Fender offsets. When dialed in the vibrato is the best. More subtle like a Bigsby. Good luck with it!
