it's not a classic color, but i like it and think it's a sleeper. flat paint always works.

    Not flat paint, it’s gloss.

    Jumbo frets on that?
IIRC I bought a newish Am Pro neck for $300 (screaming deal) in Oct but the seller was having a problem with their pay pal acct and the sale ended up cancelled.
Maybe it was an Am Performer, I forget.

    Nice guitar there though!

I love that color with a RW neck. It's too bad that they got rid of some of the cool colors from the Am Pro I series on the Am Pro II instead of just adding the cool new colors. And, of course I'm always complaining about how now some colors on come on a maple neck and some only on a RW one, when they should offer all colors with either neck, like they used to on the Am Std series. How hard is it to screw either neck on any color body?
I really wanted the Sonic Grey when I got my Am Pro Strat, but my Fender dealer had CAR in stock, and not Sonic Grey, and I fell in love with it, so I got that instead DSCN0687.JPG

Performers have jumbo frets and Yosemite pickups, and Pros have narrow tall frets and V-Mod pickups. I have one of each, and they're the two best Strats I've ever had. The CAR one is the Pro, and the Honeyburst one is the Performer
