What color pickguard should I get (I don't like white pearloid)?

I think I want to change the pickguard. I’m not a fan of white pearloid. Black? Tort? Cream? I don’t know.

Congratulations! Those Classic Vibes are great guitars!

I have a mahogany-bodied thinline that I put a cream pickguard on, and I think it looks good...

I recently built these two Thinline style partscasters to sell. Liked the sound so am considering building myself a sunburst thinline.

Here's a link to another thread with a pic of a Thinline with black 'guard, by @wcmicroter. You may have to scroll down the page in the link to find it. Looks very sharp!

Well, if it's any consolation, the Thinline looks very, very cool no matter what pickguard it has. ;)

Stormin, where did you get the cream pickguard? Online I mostly see pearloid and black.

I see cream on eBay, for what it's worth.

You can also get aged white MOTS if you want something a little less bright. Has a little yellow in it.

Yes, that would certainly still be a big improvement!
