It was listed as used but damn if this thing isn’t in just about perfect condition, still had the plastic on the pickguard and neck pickup.

It’s a 2016 Thinline Tele Deluxe, action and intonation are good right out of the box. The Fender Noiseless pickups sound great and with the 4 way switch having the pups in series is like a built in boost.

It feels, plays and sounds awesome and is a great compliment to my Blacktop Tele. Next step is putting a Bigsby on it.

Sunburst and a MoTS pickguard? How can it not have a Bigsby?

    Very nice.

    Great, congrats!
Some sellers on Reverb are very honest and respectful of the rules. I’ve had the same experience with my CS esquire: listed as used because it was missing some case candies, but it was basically new.

That looks amazing. Definitely do the Bigsby. Really clean and very pretty. Nice score!

I wish Fender had made those Thinlines with the WRHB in the neck and the LP-style wiring (basically a 72 Custom on a Thinline body). Would have been the perfect Tele to me.

I actually asked the seller how this guitar was used since it was perfect, it doesn’t even look like a demo or a floor model. He said that they had a back stock of them that never sold. They opened it, inspected it and then packaged it back up. So basically a 3 year old brand new guitar.

I do need to sell an Epi Dot Studio and my MiM Strat now, but I’m ok with that. This guitar is super versatile and is the best looking guitar I have, and is also my first “new” guitar in like 8 years, everything else I’ve had I’ve gotten off of Craigslist.

    Gorgeous! I want one!

Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for it, and who was the Seller?

    Thanks in advance. ;)

    Love it!

Not sure I've seen knobs on tuners that look like Klusons but the posts are not vintage?

    Beautiful guitar!

I'm not a massive fan of Thinline Teles but that's a looker for sure.

    2 questions, please:

I read a review on Sweetwater, from a guy who owns this guitar. He mentioned that there is significant hum due to the lack of shielding in the pickup cavities. Is this your experience?

Also, these tele's weigh in the mid 6-pound range, making them susceptible to "neck dive". Is this your experience?

    Thanks for any feedback, Roman4405.

I haven’t noticed any more him than any other Tele or Strat with single coils, it has fender vintage noiseless pickups in it, which help to eliminate most of the hum.

There is some neck dive, similar to the SG I had. I just put a leather strap with a suede back on it, problem solved.
