Always be proud of what you have. My wife made me get the GC string club card a few years ago. Every month at some point they have either Ernie Ball or D’addario Strings on sale 3/$10. That’s $5 off with the card so I paid $5 for three sets of strings I like. The 12 packs of electric and acoustic strings were gifts. Plus I also used my string club card to buy all the banjo and mandolin strings for almost nothing. I’m a big cheapskate when I can be.

All around the house. Strings, electronics components, tubes, winders, capos, snark tuners, picks. That way I never lose them. They are always somewhere even if I cant find them. I already know there is a 50/50 chance there is at least one pick in the dryer.

I have an ACE hardware plastic tool box with all of my guitar maintenance tools, accessories. My strings are stored in there.

I've got a bunch of these sitting around the basement:

(That's a wooden crate that holds two "SPAM cans" of Russian 7.62x54R ammo, by the way.)

I'm starting to think I may need to repurpose one of them for string storage!

Me too, practically. A plastic box with a lid about the size of a shoebox. Plus a couple sets in each guitar case.

I am a chemist, a coworker got stopped at the airport, he was working with nitro or nitroso compounds and tested positive for explosives.
Must have been a fun explanation

I keep them in the big post office envelope they come in...that paper that won't rip.
When I get one of those "do not eat" packages of desiccant with something, I toss it in the envelope.
