I spent some time flogging these two DemonFx pedals today after USPS delivered…a Reverb/Delay Workstation and a Golden Rat. I think both are excellent and good picks for crowded pedal boards.

The Reverb/Delay Workstation covers 8 reverbs and 8 delays. It also has a tap tempo (with a jack for an extension) and stereo outputs. Both the reverb and delay sides have four adjustment knobs to fine tune your choice.

The Golden Rat is a distortion (of course) pedal, with settings for vintage, boost, and turbo. All settings sound great on my Orange CR60. It also has an internal “fat” switch, which I have not tried yet.

Carry on.

I have the RDW myself. While it has input for a tap switch and an expression pedal, the tap is limited to the delay and the expression pedal is limited to the reverb.

I know that DemonFX had a Super Rat pedal, I wasn’t aware of the Golden Rat. It looks interesting (but I have way too many Rat pedals already). ;)

A Super Rat vs Golden Rat comparison could be educational. Is the Golden Rat basically a Super Rat with the addition of an internal “Fat” switch?
