Really pleased with this purchase. I want to have as few pedals as possible for my current band and in life in general.

This fuzz sounds great asa stand alone into my Matchless Lightning.

It's like a mellower, lower output and more ear pleasing Electro Harmonix Big Muff. Less "in your face."

It sounds good through the sweep of the distortion and in any toggle switch position.

The creamy mode adds more gain.

The push knob can be used subtractively. Meaning you can use it engaged to diminish the gain and then disengage to get more gain.

For me the really great thing is the Boos works great with my OD pedal.

All of my dirt needs are taken care of with this and the J. Rockett Majestic.

FYI - The Super Russian sounds great with either single coils or humbuckers.

If you had considered a Super Russian, go for it!

That’s a great fuzz. I love W&C anyway and recently discovered they have a custom shop which is good for me because I need at least a few more fuzzes.
    Enjoy the creamy goodness.

They jammed a lot into that muff!

Never tried W&C but love my SUF Muffs with just the added mids knobs.
I’d be curious to hear or feel what this does for less-ness, if the push knob eases it back.

Does the push knob roll off treble too like the gain / sustain knob?
    Or just cut grit?

I've heard good things about SUF. The push will bring down the gain/output and whatever goes along with that.

    Hi.

    Looks nice.

I’ve only just recently dipped my toe into the Big Muff thing - via a cheap clone. I only bought it as an impulse buy when walking past a cabinet of used pedals in a store; mainly cos it cost basically nothing. Chanced it and surprised. Now I fear a rabbit hole.

I don’t know much about Wren & Cuff, but I notice that they have collaborated on a few things with Animals Pedals here in Japan.

Like this rather interesting one from last year.

Well I mean a muff and all...

Has to be the most appreciated payed attention to obsessed over circuit in all the effects of all time!

I have more than a dozen in my, uh, harem.
FWIW I think one Russian next to one violet ram would keep me happy but I really do like the SUF mids.
Still open to new muffs though of course...
