I’ve been looking for one of these for awhile and found a used one. It’s going to be my back-up in case of amp failure.

Cool pedals! I have the Tech21 FlyRig5 which has the Plexi character circuit in it. It sounds really good. I also have the Joyo ACTONE knockoff character pedal, which is also very good.

    Enjoy!

Tech 21 makes some good stuff. I’ve been using their reverb pedal for years.

A worship leader I play acoustic guitar with just got a Flyrig5 and loves it.

LOL! I'm the lead guitarist for a worship team here in Moncton and use only the Flyrig5 and a Line 6 HX effects. Sounds great direct to the board and you can literally get any tone/effect out of just these two pieces.

I had the Tech 21 “California” for a long time. Great pedals and I don’t think you can go wrong with these. Enjoy.

And as you may remember, it’s my second pedal purchase this month. A new record for me.

I have the Joyo American Sound clone, and besides using it into the front end of one of my amps, this pedal goes to every electric gig.
( put it into the back of whatever amp I take)

Edit- dont know if the Joyo is any different from the real Blonde, but I dont like the Drive/ Gain knob past 9:00-10:00 clock. So it is still paired with an OD pedal ( at low Drive)- which I can turn ON/0FF as needed

I had the blonde once but didn't get on with it for what I was after at the time. The character knob could produce a very wide range of tones though.

I do have the FlyRig 5 mk2 which I really enjoy using. It's perfect for when I'm feeling too lazy to take a pedalboard, or when I'm walking to a local gig as I can put it in the guitar case and plug straight into the PA.

If you’re using dirt pedals, I gotta tell you, the Liverpool or British work much better. The Blonde is ok on its own, but is kinda loose and farty when you hit it with a boost or OD, in my experience.

I have a T21 Blonde and a Leeds...... the Blonde is very good but the Leeds gets the nod for me. It is supposed to be a Hiwatt emulation. I can’t say I’ve had the pleasure of playing a Hiwatt but the Leeds can do early Pete Townsend with ease and has a great clean sound.

    Tech 21 makes great stuff.

An AC Tone was thrown in with a Fulltone OCD pedal I bought from a friend. I have since sold the OCD and the Joyo hasn't moved from the board in years.

Same experience here. The blonde is a great pedal tho.

I’ll hook up a Liverpool or British into the fx loop on my Quilter heads to get in the respective amp ballparks.
The Liverpool even feels Voxish squish under the fingers.

Enjoy Doug! I had the ‘Orange’ pedal (Oxford?). These T21 pedals are so tweakable. Would have kept it, but I bought an Orange. I’d like to try the Blonde.

Yeah - it’s pretty impressive. I got it very recently at a pawn shop for dirt cheap. I figured it would be decent with my smaller amp at home when I didn’t want to pull out the bigger board with the FlyRig and HX effects. Well it turned out to be way better than decent!
