Yesterday for my birthday, my folks got me this new pedal. I really love the versatility of the phaser effect and how tasteful it is. Here's my short review of this great pedal.
Construction - This pedal is very solid. It's built in a very sturdy metal casing and it feels well made. I love the knobs that can go into the body of the pedal (hence 'Tone-Lok'); I think that's a very nice touch.
Appearance - This pedal looks really cool. It's a very subtle ashy grey color that I think it really tasteful. The purple nameplate is pretty cool too.
Sound - First of all, IT'S ANALOG! Second of all, This phaser is surprisingly versatile; it can go from wispy rotating speaker-like effects to a full on auto-wah-esque, filter matrix-y sound. It works GREAT with distortion and it doesn't suck up your tone. It's likely my favorite pedal sound wise.
Conclusion - For 40 bucks, you can't go wrong with this gem. I'm a big fan of affordable pedals and this is about the best deal you can get for a phaser on the market today. I'd wholly recommend it.
