NPD Custom Shop Twisted Tele

    Git these off a buddy. He ordered them and then sold the guitar. Never installed. The bridge is 10 K plus. Anyone tried these. I’m thinking they might go in an ash body with a maple neck.

    I did the twisted tele and Broadcaster combo. Perfect for my needs and extremely happy with them for over two years now.

    These are different than the Baja set I think. Better or worse I don’t know. I had the Baja set and they were okay a tad thin. Not sure on these.

    A lot of people run the TT pairs and love them. Mine were the CS combo. Oh, and beware there are a lot of fake ones out there in fake CS boxes. So, take measurements of both pickups to be sure.

    I'll be interested to hear your views about the comparison, once you get a chance to wire up the new set. I've been gigging a Baja for the last four years and the pickups do everything I want.

    Same here. My American Standard came with them and they sound great to me. I even installed a pair in a MIM I own. Very happy with them.
