Had it in for about a week. I wanted to try something that would give me a usable neck sound. Previously I never used the neck pup, way too dark (Fender OVs). Dropped it in and got a beautiful strat sound. Now I have 3 useful sounds.

I have the Lion King in the neck of a Peavey Reactor. The original stock neck pickup was muddy; the Lion King was very clear and with a lot of chime. Highly Recommended.

Yep, I shot for low fat. Lioness is actually a good lead or rhythm pup.

A good neck pickup is hard to find in a stock Tele. Adding one makes it so much better. Kinda like the bridge pickup in a Strat.

Rob @ Cavalier Pickups is a great pickup maker and a great guy to do business with. I have numerous Tele pickups and all are excellent!
Currently using a Nashville Tele Bridge pickup for a match with a low output SD Jazz neck pickup.

His prices are excellent as well!
