I've posted ad infinitum about NOT being a booster of electric cars on the forum as most of you well know. The FUNNY thing is, I've been deluged by emails from ELECTRIC MOTOR companies. Electric motor manufacturers, electric motor repairs, electric motor catalogs etc. local, and national. Now hmmm, where could that have come from since I've not mentioned electric motors anywhere but here on the forum? Just a mystery, lets see now, you talk about EVs on the BD, and you get the EMs. Hmm, sounds like a case for Columbo!

And is it a coincidence? I think not.

Toto, I'm no Columbo but your post could have been shown in the results of a Google (or other like program) search. When I want information on something I just Google it and a lot of times a link to a post in TDPRI that contains words in the search will come up.

Not me. But there is a company that someone else here works for that does that.

It’s not TDPRI, just the bots that comb through your history, trying to show you stuff you are interested in to win that click.
I don’t take it personally. I’d rather see stuff I’m interested in than be barraged for ads for Depends and Vagisil and lawyers like on TV.

The all knowing eye. This reminds me of a time I spent teaching Russian scientists in a lab in Moscow how to use instruments supplied by NIH. On day 1 I presented my credentials and my letter of invitation from the Russian government to the guard. On day two I opened my backpack to hand over my credentials again and the guard waved me through. I was surprised to say the least and asked about it. He replied, “You remember your way? Everybody here knows who you are and where you belong. Don’t be found anyplace else. The consequences will be unpleasant.”

Except it’s not all knowing. It’s all automatic, just software. Nothing to worry about until they develop AI.

I had that facebook thingy put recent camping pics together and
create a (your vacation) care to share.
Programming did that. I reckon. Don’t know how they knew it was vacation or time away. Maybe calc based on pics created or google distance from home

TD, you’ve probably got more EV miles than the average bear here. All that golf cart use adds up. And think, you were an early adaptor. Always looking forward, you are:eek:

This is true in our neck of the woods as well. I tell my friends to be careful with what they do (and say/post).

:eek::eek::eek: Wow. I understand though. The few I've met who lived in the former USSR told me very similar stories. Based on other stories Ive been told over the years, I don't think that guard was kidding in the slightest....

TDPRI actually owns Google, I heard. Makes sense. All the knowledge flows from here...

Just curious, did you download the Chrome extension for the TDPri $1500 prize giveaway? That extension reads everything you see or type into your Chrome browser doesn't it?
