When I was growing up, my uncle owned a series of cars with Chief Pontiac as a hood ornament. In this age of Guardians and Commanders, that might not fly either. Maybe that's why GM discontinued the Pontiac.
Two great film noirs with serious #Nash content:
"Suddenly" (1954) all police cars (Nash police cars were a Western US thing IMO, NY got '49-'50 Fords to replace all the '48s).
"The Man Who Cheated Himself"(1952) which is actual Nash product placement (both hero cars).
Great movies, both of them. On archive.org of course, maybe complete on YT.
#Nash got criticized for overly soft suspension back in the day, but the action shots of those cars cornering aren't too too bad, so maybe they actually had a police suspension package.
