I had been having a, hopefully, theoretical debate about amplifier heads. My argument, and hopefully one that I will be proved wrong on, is that in recent years we have seen an influx of smaller portable guitar valve/tube heads, which are great. They sound great, are light and easy to gig with. However my concern is in the long term, as they get hot, which valve amps tend to do, with the smaller space in these heads, is the pcb likely to overheat and warp given the smaller space?
Here's hoping I am well and truly wrong because I do love me these small amp heads.

All three of my lunchbox heads (Mesa TA-15, Mesa Mini Rectifier, and Egnater Tweaker) are oriented with the tubes sitting on top of the chassis, so the heat originates above the circuit boards.

Most I've seen are also properly vented. Don't think there's a problem.
