anyone find any cool/weird/funky selector tips? Etsy has lots of cool knobs, but i only saw one novelty selector tip--a spike, similar to what's on a leather jacket. i was looking for something nerdier; for example, one of my guitars has knobs that look like D10 dice.

I think with matching binding or pickguard these could be really nice touches:

Not very exotic, but I have Strat switch tips on my Teles. Got the idea from Mr. Richards. The shape has its advantages and disadvantages- for one thing it's less of an obstruction to reach that first knob, especially if you generally stay on one pickup setting.
A disadvantage is- if you are a heavy pickup switcher it's harder to do that easily and quickly. Duh, lol.

To be clear, I kept knocking the stock Tele tip off, until I finally used teflon tape or epoxy or something to keep it on there. That tip flew off during a gig once, but I was able to find it thankfully. But that stock one is so round and large...I couldn't 'un-see' it once I became aware of hitting it with my pinky, if you get my meaning.

Cheap women's earrings can provide some cool and interesting material for tips and knobs and inlays and such.

Jab a piece of candy corn on there!

Anything that has a 1/4" hole in it (or anything you can drill a 1/4" hole in) is a candidate. All that's left to do is glue a Strat switch knob in the hole. Done!
