Anybody have any experience with Novak's lipstick humbucker? Looks like it's pretty new.

Not the answer that you're explicitly asking for (I know you want it though:lol:).

Making a humbucker from two singlecoils with their own magnet does not take you into traditional humbucker sounds.

I have experience of a Rio Grande Tallboy humbucker which is two strat pickups on the same bottom plate.

Bottom line - when in series it sounded pretty much like a louder, fatter and less distinct strat pickup. Nice sound!

I have a Novak Lipstick pickup in the neck slot of an older Strat
    Good sounding pickup.

*EDIT* Whoops, I see you are asking about the lipstick humbucker.
    Cant help you there.

I have a guitar with the H/S/S setup that I wired the 2 ceramic mag singles together in series as a humbucker and used a 3-way switch. The singles were only passable before, now they are awesome sounding. Still in their neck and middle positions, just wired together.
