    I've had a revelation!

Recently, after selling my Epiphone Dot, I have acquired a Squier Classic Vibe 50's Telecaster because I needed something with single coils and I've totally fallen in love with the clean tones that this neck pickup produces, absolutely stunning.

For this clip, I plugged into my pedalboard and into my trusty Boss Katana 50 on the clean channel with a touch of reverb.

The only effect that I used was a one repeat delay from the TC Electronic Echo Brains Analog Delay (Matt Schofield uses his delays in this manner).

What do you guys think? Cheers!

As a jazz player I have been seeking that clean tone for a long time. I went through some big woody jazz boxes in the process. Glad I finally honed in on the tele.
Great playing by the way!!! Very emotive! keep it up.

Yeah man... tasty neck pickup chops right there.

The neck pickup is why I bought a Tele. I lived on the neck position of a Strat for 19 years... after 2 weeks of borrowing a friend's Tele, I realized it was making the neck tone I wanted so badly out of the Strat.

Thank you so much man! Yes, the tele has this precussive quality to it and it's very responsive!

When I first played my first tele, it was like lifting a blanket off my speaker cabinet. There's other great guitars but nothing like a good telecaster. BTW I tend to favor cleaner sounds as well.
