...couldn't have built it without the ideas and knowledge gained from this forum!

I call this the 'Rockmaster SGS' (I'll never play jazz on it! ;)). USACG mahogany body and a gorgeous mahogany and rosewood neck from our very own Joe Desperado. Lollar P-90s and a Pigtail wraparound bridge.

It's 'brother' (currently under construction) will be similar but with a classic Tele theme and a couple of unique twists...

    Thanks for lookin'!

That is very, very nice. You pulled off the jazzmaster/SG hybrid elegantly. How's it play? Got an audiofile?

Thanks for the kind words! Tone-wise, it kills. Big and nasty for the most part. A real rock and roll guitar! Guess I need to figure out how to generate and post sound files...

    Ciao,

    Like it!
    The red really fits it.
Reminds me of the Kauer Daylighter!

    Rick.

That really turned out awesome. I hope I can use these pics!

That neck is a very special piece of old growth Honduras Mahogany and you really did a great job of capturing its beauty. I hope we get to hear you bangin' on that one soon. I love the color...and now want to build one just like it!

I keep comming back to these pics! Man that is just such a georgious guitar Rick. It's everything I love about Fender packaged with everything I love about Gibson. Offset body, strat neck, awesome P90's, Excellent red Mahogany finish, dark rich board, MOPs and a great stop tail. What a classy guitar! I bet I stop back a few more times today to look at this one.

    Joe
