    I don't see it happening.

But a lot of things happen that I did not see happening, so there may be a bigger fool out there.

Somebody’ll buy that. I won’t. And I never would. But somebody will.

I think they ought to list it on Craislist and just see what happens.
I'm not sure but I think this is the guitar recorded about 1980. In old videos I've seen Mr. Blake play this guitar a lot.

Thought about "adding" it to my cart, just for the hell of it.

If I could sell my vintage TS9 for $250k and a couple other vintage stomps and wires I have
I might be able to do it.

Certainly ambitious, but another good sign the vintage market is coming back.

Old and valuable? Yes of course it is, but asking that kind of money is quite ridiculous.

Throw it on Craiglist and see how it goes. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and offer a double fidy (a fat Franklin) just to get the ball rollin'.

    "Seriously inquiries only"

I'm seriously inquiring: Is the person selling this guitar nuts, or is he counting on some lunatic with way too much money and way too little brains to come along and pay that ridiculous price?

I dunno, years ago I used to visit a butcher who always had porkchops on sale for 59 cents a pound, but was always out of them. I told him one day, you oughta run them porkchops for 19 cents a pound, you ain't ever got any of 'em anyway. He says awww naahhh I ain't sellin' porkchops for 19 cents a pound even if I don't have any of 'em. I might kind of be like that, I don't think I could give 3 million for a beat up old Martin even if I had a Billion dollars of my own.

Cool. I've sat in front of that guitar quite a few times over the years (at a variety of concerts and local dances); wouldn't mind sitting behind it!

It is a very rare guitar with a storied life. It should be expensive. How expensive will be determined when and if it sells. I'd love to see it go for the list price. To me, this is in the same category of any famous player's instrument: Monroe's mandolin, Earl's banjo, Buddy Holly's Strat, Armstrong's trumpet, etc, etc.

How come you don't talk that way when they sell one of them beat up old guitars of Hendrix's or some other big shot electric guitar player?
