I'm a bit of a fan of the older Japanese Tele copies, made by brands such as Greco, Burny, Ibanez, Tokai etc...

Who else is a member in this semi-exclusive club?

And here are two more 70s Japanese Tele copies... both Tele Deluxes and no doubt show the strong similarities between the Greco and Ibanez products...

And here is an earlier, pre serial number, Ibanez Tele Deluxe. This one is a fabulous player...

Another worthwhile brand is Fernandes from the 80s. Made in the same Fugi Gen plant as the JV Fenders. A friend of mine collects old Fernandes and both his custom Tele copies feel and sound almost exactly like my Fender 85 MIJ 62 RI. Only difference is the headstock shape.

Wow, if you ever decide to sell this one, please give me a call :)
Ibanez and Telecaster, like that one, sounds like a perfect match!
