    So I’ve been thinking about parlor-sized non-cutaway electric guitars lately, like the B&G Little Sister.

    Does anybody know of any other brands that make something like this? I know I’ve seen some others but the names escape me.

    I can't help, but thanks for the unexpected new facet to my GAS! I'll be watching for replies.

    (I have a Gibson ES125, but I know that's not what you're looking for.)

    I seem to recall some solid body mahogany things... but what were they called...

    John Mayall was playing something like this when I saw him in concert a few years ago, too.

    And of course, Gibson made a few of these:

    Not so slim, but Washburn made an ES125 style in the HB-15,floating bridge and just a single neck mounted pickup, they made them around the turn of the century;

    All nice guitars. a mate of mine said he would've bought a Taylor 214- CE , which I have, except he didn't like the cutaway, so he bought a martin D-18 for his recording studio.
    I went home and tone tapped my Taylor and he was right. The top is a more mellow tone, the cutaway has a higher pitch , less wood. Now I'll only buy an acoustic that doesn't have a cutaway ( acoustics).
    How often do we play the top end notes on an acoustic anyway? JMHO

    Epiphone century slimline - cute but it's not a parlour size

    I have a few homemade non-cutaway electrics - they're fun guitars.

    There was a guitar called a Luddite, that I hankered after.
