I’m getting some Athletic Brewing Co. Free Wave Hazy IPA and Run Wild IPA for tomorrow.

A few weeks ago, my longtime neighbor gave me a Free Wave Hazy IPA at a lunch they hosted for our family—delicious!

I quit drinking alcohol over 13 years ago—not interested anymore—but this stuff is tasty.

I should be good, since it’s < 0.5% alcohol, so I’d have to drink about 8.5 cans to equal one can of Miller Light (4.2%), and 15 cans to equal a bottle of real IPA, like Racer 5 (7.5%).

I’ll probably drink one or two for the taste (and be happy without the waste(ed-ness ; )

Boom times for the NA beer industry. More and more NA beers over more styles should become available now there are hybrid ale yeasts that don't ferment Maltose, the main sugar in unfermented beer. Giving a more natural flavour without creating alcohol in the first place. Instead of the current methods of creating NA beers, such as stripping alcohol from standard beer using reverse osmosis, which also removes a lot of texture and flavour.

I really like to drink non alcoholic beer.Nowadays almost every german beer producer also makes an non alcoholic beer.

This is my favorite one.It is a quite common beer in our region and I used to drink the "normal version" for decades. It also was our favorite "band beer" . :)
Nowadays I don't drink too much alcohol ( although I have nothing against a beer or two ) and this is a good alternative.
Besides that the bottle looks ( and feels ) exactly like the alcoholic version. And when drinking that beer you can hardly taste that it is the non alcoholic version.
I'm not a big fan of lemonade because it's often too sweet for my taste. And for me it's boring to just drink mineral water all day long and even in the evening.
So I can go anywhere, drink 3 or 4 non alcoholic beers and then drive the car without feeling guilty.
There is also a great tasting bavarian non alcoholic "Weizenbier" that I really enjoy to drink -
"Erdinger Alkoholfrei" and it also almost tastes like a "normal" beer.
It's nice that there are so many alternatives these days.
(It is just my personal taste , this is not intended to be an advertisement and I have nothing to do with either one of the named companies ....!!! )

Good plan, save some for the whales.

I'm all for NA beers. We have a family gathering every summer and last year they stocked up on NA. I don't remember the names but I spent a whole Saturday trying different types and they tasted great!
On the other end I'm dropping in on a couple people today before dinner to say Hi (I was invited) and I'm dropping off a bottle of Delirium Tremens Belgian Trippel Ale. Dangerous if you drink the whole bottle.

We have Athletic Run Wild and Hazy on hand for those that aren't drinking. Both are really excellent. I've mostly stopped drinking but since I'm doing all the cooking I'm allowing myself a manhattan with a super fancy Luxardo Cherry and possibly a glass or two of wine with dinner.

Taking a break from cooking--this dinner is like a giant cargo ship, once it's embarked on a course it's almost impossible to stop or turn

I don't understand burgers with no actual meat in them. Or sausage made with turkey. Or alcoholic beverages with no alcohol in them.

Just the way I am. So often these days, I drink 1-2 beers and don't detect a hint of buzz anyway.

When we were kids and lived in Ohio, the ABV was capped around 3% and the beer wasn't very good tasting anyway. I think I still have that unpleasant experience, which underlays all these NA beer products. For me.

To some folks alcohol is like an allergy. You wouldn’t put peanuts in a cake for someone who is allergic to them. Imho.
