I can't sleep if I have coffee after 6pm so it's a no for me.

Yup. Caffeine never affects me unless mass quantities are involved. I can't say I do the nocturnal joe often...but once or twice.

I'm more likely to have a cup before I go to bed. Cold evenings, nice cuppa joe...better'n hot cocoa. Sleep like a log.

Yes, I'm suffering at the moment from having to wear a catheter because of radiation burns when I had radiation treatment for prostate cancer about 5 years ago. I still get bleeding from the bladder and urethra so its been decided I wear a catheter on a permanent basis.
It sure does its best to make my nights pure hell every time I try to change position in my sleep it wakes me up with a jolt of pain shooting thru' my penis. So lately I've developed the midnight (or later) desire for a coffee. And after drinking it and making a few adjustments to the catheter and its supports I head back to bed and hopefully sleep for a few more hours.. S

Sometimes this works for me. I think the addiction to caffeine wakes me up, so drinking a cup relaxes me enough to go back to sleep.

Nope. I can't even imagine why. If I wake up in the middle of the night (usually to pee or throw another log on the fire or both), I try really hard to go back to sleep ASAP.

My 90 year old dad will almost invariably wake up in the middle of the night and then proceed to warm up some milk and then dunk a slice of toast into it for his going back to sleep remedy recipe.:lol:

Frogs are a good sign. My Dad loved all things Natural and taught me that frogs will only exist if the water is clean as they breathe a lot through moist skin. Enjoy the frogs , it's better than traffic noise.:)

Nope. Used to. But as age has chosen to suck all the joy outta life, coffee after ~2 in the afternoon robs me of sleep.

    So it's tea. Herbal tea.

For a person who roasts his own coffee, this is sacrilege.

Well I used to drink it all the time. Somewhere along the way it began to keep me awake - So I have 2 cups before noon and rarely any more than that unless on holiday

If it's Friday or Saturday night, or if I don't have to work the next day, then 11:30p or midnight is last call mocha time for me. And I have no intention of going to sleep until my body says no more. If I didn't have to sleep, if my body didn't force me to pass out eventually, I would not sleep. I'd much rather keep recording.

It's 4:22am here in the Ducerro household. Woke up at 3am for a potty break and then laid in bed until 4am trying to go back to sleep. Thinking a cup of java might not be a bad idea...

One coffee a day, always before 2pm. Good tea, brewed in a pot, from quality leaves, the rest of the time.
Don't like weak coffee, so one strong mug is plenty. Life is too short for tea bags, or instant coffee.

Myself, I never touch the stuff. But I once had a girlfriend who could drink a whole pot then fall asleep.
