In this thread https://www.tdpri.com/threads/nad-captain-amps-2x10-tweed-super-amp.798211/ I already described my tweed super. Meanwhile it gots some changes (6v6 power tubes) and a new housing. So it´s new old amp day . That´s how it looks like in these days For my new band project I wanted something fuller sounding but I love the tweed super so much for its tones. So I decided that it needs a headshell and a separat 2x12 cab. The cab is fantastic, loaded with a Celestion v-type and a Celestion a-type. The two speakers are separated from each other in the box with a wooden divider, the side with the a-type has the possibility to open the backside for a more open sound. It´s really the best 2x12 cab I ever had, full sounding, not boomy and not to heavy. Here´s how it sounds, only some noodling recorded with the smartphone. In front of the amp is a clone of the Analogman KoT, guitar is my custom made HSS T-Caster.
