I love finding a "No Talking, Just Playing" demo videos for musical products.

Some of these folks making demo videos yak and yak for 2/3 of the video and barely demonstrate anything, except for their own gift of gab.

I click through the blabbers vid jumping a bit at a time. In some I see hardly playing at all. If it takes too long to get started I exit stage left even. I saw the title of the vid now get to it!

Haaa- I'm the other way around. I watch guitars/gear videos to learn about stuff; not to watch some random person play guitar. I skip the playing.

I like a mix of both, with emphasis on the playing. Imo, a video should start with playing, then some short and concize comments on the specs/functions, and then more playing. Whenever a video starts out with some nerd yapping, I move on.

I can’t figure out why I would want to watch “unboxing” a piece of gear.

I barely watch them, unless it's something interesting I'm keen on.

I like to see someone demonstrate the different nuances, settings and capabilities of the equipment. There are plenty of demos that do and I just don't watch the ones that want to blab. I consider it a waste of time. I can read the manufacturers write up on all of it. JMHO
