I have the iOS app for TDRI. Although there have been comments and/or likes on threads I have recently participated in, I haven’t gotten any notifications.
Is this an issue with the app globally, or do I need to do something on my device?

Have you turned on Notifications for the App in your iOS device?

In mobile devices you have notification options for every app you install. These and other options are maintained by the user.

I tried that, but it’s not the notifications on my device; it’s the notifications in-app. These:

The notifications the link leads to have not updated in about three days.
Thanks very much

I have an iPhone. I didn't know there is an app because I avoid the Apple Store. I type TDPRI.com into Safari and sign in with my UN & PW. Alerts don't always appear right away because the forum opens where I left it. Any alerts I have appear a few seconds after I refresh. This method may be a little round about but is no problem for me. The only problem I have is with my wife asking, "Are you on that guitar site again?"

Same here. I thought it was just me.

I know for a fact that I'm an ios idiot, so there's that.
Still trying to learn though, and since I do most computing on a macbook, learning ios computing is taxing my limited learning ability.

Maybe I'd best not poke this particular snake though, might get scared if I get alerts while operating other apps, like editing a pic to post, which sometimes results in an unopenable doc instead of the normal actual pic that you can see with no fussing about.

Do people who are neither IT pros nor under 30 actually understand all the ios system does?

Fussing is a granny word I chose to indicate I'm blameless in my curmudgeonry.

I have an iPhone se. I’ve had it since my TDPRI membership started and there has never been a problem refreshing my notifications. I don’t know anything about technology. All I know is everything worked fine until Tuesday. Now I don’t get updates.

Maybe a recent software update changed it?
I have the SE as well, my third iphone, and it seems like every so often a software update changes my setting or preferences back to default settings.

I also used to select "install tonight" when the software update prompt appeared on the screen while I was inevitably in the middle of something else on the device, so didn't want to stop for a software update. The last six months or so the "install tonight" option is there but doesn't work no matter how many times I click on it, so I have to either choose "install now" or "install later".
Just another glitchy thing I don't understand.

I solved it (for myself). I don’t know if it will work for the rest of you, but I uninstalled the app. Then I installed it again. Now my notifications are refreshing. Good luck.
